After a night of watching hoops, it was time for the president to take the court himself. President Obama played basketball for nearly two hours yesterday at the Interior Department, a few blocks from the White House. On Friday night, Obama watched from courtside at Verizon Center as his hometown Chicago Bulls lost to the Washington Wizards. CHICAGO, March 28 -- No matter how easy he's making it look, John Salmons is adamant about one thing: Don't be fooled. Salmons scored 22 points and hit two late three-pointers, and the Chicago Bulls pulled out a wild 112-106 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday afternoon for their fourth straight win. CHICAGO, Jan. 25 -- A woman found shot to death in a Chicago apartment was a former girlfriend of New York Knicks player Eddy Curry and the mother of his 3-year-old son, Curry's attorney said Sunday. A relative found the bodies of Nova Henry, 24, and her 9-month-old daughter, Ava, in their apartment near the South Side on Saturday evening, Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond said.
