The glut of President Obama merchandise is confounding collectors who are unsure how to discern the gems from the junk. Purchase a "Hope" poster by artist Shepard Fairey or a dancing doll? A papier-mâché statue or a presidential dog tag? Investing wisdom says scarcity increases value. But with Obama merchandise everywhere , questions abound.

The Lerner Family — which owns the Washington Nationals baseball club — is tired of seeing all those Philadelphia Phillies fans screaming their heads off for the opposing club. They're also tired, no doubt, of seeing those unsold premium seats behind home plate, too. As part of the team's Take Back the Park plan, Washington area's four Lexus dealers have gotten together to shell out $40,000 to purchase about 200 of the best seats in the park — the Lexus President's Club seats behind home plate — for the May 5 tilt against those pesky Phillies.

Northrop Grumman Systems Defense Systems Division of Herndon won a $43 million contract from the Air Force to repaint two aircraft to Air Force specifications. Northrop Grumman Systems of Linthicum Heights won a $6.9 million contract from the Air Force to assist the AFRL/RXM in bridging the gap between military manufacturing needs and industry capabilities. 3 Phoenix of Chantilly won a $12.3 million contract from the Navy to provide engineering services to support software development, procurement of off-the-shelf products and hardware/software integration.
