NEW CASTLE, Del. — Police are investigating the robbery of a pizza delivery driver in New Castle. New Castle County Police say they responded to Capano Drive at 9:52 p.m. Saturday for a report of a robbery. The 49-year-old driver reported he was attempting to locate an apartment to make a delivery when he was attacked by three men. The driver told police he was struck several times before one of the suspects fled on foot and two others fled in a small dark car with tinted windows.

A pair of would-be robbers on the Mall knocked a man down Monday afternoon and went through his pockets, the U.S. Park Police said. The incident occurred about 5:15 p.m. in the Ripley Garden between the Smithsonian Institution's Arts and Industries building and the Hirshhorn Museum, said Sgt. Police in Montgomery County are investigating a robbery and stabbing in Silver Spring early Monday morning.
