BYRAM, Miss. — A sport utility truck has plowed into the children's play area of a McDonald's restaurant outside of Jackson, Miss., injuring five people. NORFOLK, Va. — A Norfolk man faces charges of stealing an ambulance and crashing it into several vehicles. Norfolk police say no one was injured. Police tell media outlets that 25-year-old Lamont Antonio Davis jumped into a private ambulance parked in front of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and drove off late Tuesday. OCEAN CITY, Md. — Ocean City Police say an officer and another person were hurt when a motor scooter rear-ended the officer's patrol vehicle. It happened about 2:15 a.m. Monday on Coastal Highway at 41st Street. Police say the officer was stopped at a traffic light when a scooter operated by 25-year-old Edward Thomas Johnson of Salisbury crashed into the rear of the patrol vehicle. Police say Johnson was thrown from the scooter. He and the officer were taken to area hospitals.
